Not too long ago I was living in the middle of nowhere, unemployed, depressed, and my feet were always cold. Buffy and Angel were leaving me; Farscape was cancelled; Firefly was cancelled; Battlestar Galactica was just a miniseries and the prospects for good genre television looked bleak.With the last burst of fading interest in me, a dear old friend (hey, Orca Girl! Who built me a website!) pimped Stargate and Stargate fanfic to me. She forced me (yes, at gunpoint,) to watch the show, and then when I fell in love with it, fed me a steady diet of fanfic, then said "Now what I'd like to see in a fanfic is..." So I started to write it.
